In your journey towards finding a diagnosis and help, you may need to seek the advice of medical specialists. Each type of specialist may approach the diagnosis and subsequent support in a different manner and the right approach (or combination of approaches) can be different for each person. This section discusses the services most commonly found helpful in when dealing with FND / NEAD.
Why not come to one of our drop-ins or join us online. At the moment we run a drop-in Belfast. We also have an online Peer Support Group on FaceBook. Being part of a large community can be extremely beneficial, knowing what other people go through with FND, can help with acceptance and understanding. Come join us for a chat. Or discover in our Support Groups section a selection of the many charities that offer services such as counselling, pain management, mindfulness as well as many other services.
